    We should still be trying our absolute best to offload the likes of Fraser, Hayden & Lewis to help trim the wage bill further.

    Yes but his initial contract was how long. If it was 5 years but he signed a new contract 3 years in there would still be 2 left.

    Unless of course they released the full amount to the P and L which I very much doubt.

    Well it sounds like Fraser is being a twat, wants full pay from us and no transfer fee for Southampton.

    Hayden isn’t worth anything but we should just get the wages off the books.

    Lewis still has potential but what a flop he has been.

    I would add Krafth to that.

    Previously, if a contract was renewed, the remaining amount to amortise is then amortised over the further years. Was another way to squeeze the PSR number. Not sure if that's still valid.

    Certainly is for the initial amortisation period (presume you can no longer extend), so it depends when Miggy signed his extension vs the Chelsea ruling mate.
