percentile
Better get jgf2 to explain that one.
Right just back from the gym time to think about that performance today.
Not one player can come of the pitch thinking they put a shift in.
Unbelievable against Preston we were on the front foot from start to finish vastly improved from the Birmingham game.
Then they serve up a lacklustre display today.
Question one does Nige and his team tell the players to keep passing sideways and backwards?
If he does then he has to question his set up simply it is not working.
The football is slow and has no cutting edge.
Question two if Nige and his team are not coaching this into the team then those players need withdrawing from the team.
For me their was no passion-no leaders -no commitment-no aggression from the team today.
They were just going through the motions.
Millwall are are poor side and looked at best average-they have not won away from Home since March they rock up and take three points from Ashton Gate.
If Nige is asking those players to play this way then questions have to be asked of his ability to take this club forward.Clearly it is not working.
The football pre the break was exciting to watch and producing results.
The football after the break has been dire.
No City fan would complain if the players give 100% in a game and lose-however in particular the Birmingham and Millwall games have been a absolute shambles.
The question we have to ask is
Nigel Pearson at fault?
The players at fault?
If it is the players then he needs to come down hard and drop those players.
If it is him and his team he needs to address it before the powers that be say enough is enough.
How many times do we see us in a good advance situation only to then sideways pass and eventually pass it back to the keeper, only for him to hoof it and hope? Of what I’ve watched, sh!t loads!!If the Manager does the team is not listening. A low possession team, which BCFC is does not pass the ball sideways and backwards a lot.

Is that a tactic given by our coaches/manager?
NP RELIES ON HIS COACH'SCan't keep blaming the players, somewhere along the journey the coaching isn't working IMO..
we have the squad we have,
CONFUSION OVER INFO GIVEN TO THEM?I cannot understand how a team/squad can be so consistently inconsistent!!
TRUE WHAT HE INHERITED BUT HAD US UP THE TABLE AVERAGING MORE POINTS ... ?I'm not advocating sacking Nige, I am sick of all of the grunting and moaning, you are correct he did inherit a squad of over paid, over valued holiday makers and OOC players, severe financial restraint and dependencey on acadamey product
WELLS AND CONWAY HAD A GOOD UNDERSTANDING maybe should play them as a 3 [semenyo ] with Weiman behind then work out whats best for the other 6 !!!That’s the bit I’m confused with as well.
NP relies on coach's to do the menial tasks like coaching whilst he handles media and tries to put together what the coach's advise ... which at the moment is SH**E1. With his background, why are we so dreadful at defending? especially set pieces?
UUUUUUUUUUUUM to do with classes of population ? cant say ever used it only up to N in the OXFORD dictionary ....lolBetter get jgf2 to explain that one.
Never mind, at least LJ’s team only lost 6-1 at Celtic yesterday
SAF didn’t get involved in training either. Difference was he built a great team of coaches.I’m not particularly fond of changing managers for the sake of and I really want NP to succeed with us. But I’m really confused by;
1. With his background, why are we so dreadful at defending? especially set pieces?
2. What’s happened to our closing down playing high tempo on the front foot? Is that to do with Semenyo starting or to where he plays? To me he plays too deep, wandering, looking himself to create chances, which isn’t working.
3. Why are our set plays so awful, either over hit, under hit or sending it to close for the keeper to gather.
4. Why, when we start a game, we usually look good and in control, but one attack by the opposition, we fall apart?
Either NP isn’t addressing those issues because he doesn’t know how to or the players are blatantly ignoring him.
He’s said in a previous interview, that he doesn’t get involved in the training, so imo he either changes that stance or he replaces the coaches he has. It’s not working..
It’s difficult though without throwing players under the bus, so to speak, he obviously makes his point behind closed doors, which is better. A good indication of players he’s unhappy with is who he drops. The defence is difficult at present though, because we’ve barely got enough players, so he’s unable to make changes. It’s partly why I’m so patient with him defensively. If the coaches are drilling this style of play and I use the word If then they need firing.
IF Nige is calling the shots here he needs to address it.
IF the players are scared/not capable of going forward then they need dropping.
Nige needs to come out and tell the fans what he wants and explain why the indifference in performances.
Sounds just like a Nige comment after we get beatenContender for quote of the season so far from Hibs boss Lee Johnson after their 1-0 defeat to Dundee United:

Still has them on course for European football though…need a longer handle on your shovel...... sometimes just got to admit you got it wrong ... next you will be saying a vertical mineshaft starts off at 50ft ASL goes for 300m and never goes above or below 50ft ASL...........Knocking it long, but in modern parlance vertically.
need a longer handle on your shovel...... .
so now someone else is your source [ blaming them ! ] maybe you tell them vertical is upwards horizontal or diagonal is backwards or forwards ...One google of vertical football and what appears is vertical football.
