Yeah the Trinity is a well known one. It was added by the Church in the 3rd or 4th century to try and explain the unexplainable
and there is where I believe the problem starts.
Those 'in charge' as it were (popes,priests,imams) are so keen to 'defend' that they try and offer 'real' explanations. In the process they destroy what they say they are protecting and open it up to ridicule.
That is why it is important to go to the original sources
