Big companies have an active positive discrimination policy , my employers took on a dwarf and a transexual 6ft black thing . I`m not sure if it has a cock still but she uses the womens changing room and has a decent set of jugs on it..........

Don't you hate it when a burd calls yer cock a dick? I do.
It's no ma dick. It's ma cock. Dick sounds limp wristed and effeminate, whereas cock sounds "you're ****in gettin it ya hoor".
I may have issues.

At random from the list of councils you cited I selected the Lambeth housing allocation policy: http://www.lambeth.gov.uk/NR/rdonly...4D30/0/Housing_Allocation_Scheme_2008_v12.pdf
I didn't read all 54 pages but I didn't see any reference to extra points for being gay.
I'm happy to be proved wrong though.

Classic ST debating tactic...find one fault, hammer it and ignore the rest of the statement however valid it is![]()
I'm a sad bastard at the best of times but I'm no Medro.

Some gays are alright, but some are ****ers. Some of them are average. I've found the same to be true of all minority groups.
Have a go at this then - http://www.stonewallhousing.org/ - where to go to for advice if you are gay and want a house.
As you will see they are sponsored by a few of the usual suspects including Hackney and Haringey.
I think gay men and women have the right to a Council house just the same as anyone else does but just because you take it up the pooper shouldn't mean you can step in front of someone who doesn't. Councils are desperate to force equality in both their employment and housing, we are fast approaching the situation where there will be quotas for everything. There will have to be X% black or ethnic minorities, X% gay, lesbian, transgender etc etc. Whether they are good enough to do the job or not or whether or not they deserve social housing will come second place to meeting the targets.
This might not be such an issue in other parts of the country but in London it is still very much on the agenda.
