I drove from Gold Coast to Caboolture / Bribe Island on Friday and the rain was consistent without being too violent.
I drove right past the section of road where people lost their lives.
Fortunately, I got up there and back early in the morning but the biggest issue we seem to have is people who continue to drive their car through flooded roads.
They don't stop to think that moving water will lift a car / 4WD and is the main problem.
The police have continually stated on TV not to drive through flooded roads, regardless of depth ............. unfortunately, but they still do & will.
