I don't hate Stephens coming back in to be honest. Hull aside, he wasn't horrendous in the early weeks of the season.

Bazunu vs McCarthy is very much the case of who is the least ****, so it's a bit of a 50/50 coin toss between them. I'd have stuck with McCarthy personally but yeah, is what it is.

I don’t know whether to be annoyed at a back 3 again, laughing that JS is back in the team, or intrigued to see how long it takes for people to realise AA can’t play through the middle.

 

So... Stephens didn't start a game after the report of the anonymous team captain going to the chairman saying that the players didn't believe in the manager... and then he's back in immediately after Still is sacked. Makes you wonder
