Yup, he's probably as confused as we are with exactly how we aim to break the lines when we have the ball You'd think we would be seeing some patterns by now, even if they were breaking down; I don't see anything
I dont think anything Adam says these days is a worry,I think he just reads some of the rubbish written by our"fans" and slips it into his continuous verbal diarrhoea.
Pegs and holes. Recruit someone who knows round from square who's experience is wider than data driven.
Adam is very well connected within the club. If he's saying something, no matter how off-the-cuff, it's worth listening to.
I have to say I absolutely love Loftus Road. I mean I'm surprised the concourse passes health and safety these days and I wouldn't fancy having to get out in an emergency but it's a proper old school English football ground. Now Goodison has gone and Craven Cottage has the new stand it's probably my favourite ground in the country. Well worth the £39.
To our credit I thought we defended them well. I don't remember them getting a clear cut chance in the closing stages.
Yeah it's why I don't really understand anyone criticising any of our centre backs last night. They were under constant pressure at the end for about 20-25 mins, but held strong. Great effort. What really irks me was how much space and time we were allowing their players to put in crosses or even cut in and line up a shot. The rest of our team were barely doing anything to stop the attacks coming.
We got lucky. It was horrific to sit through, and the majority of times we attempt that, it will go wrong, especially against better opposition. I'm actually a bit worried that we're going a bit too continental, and trying to compete in the Champ playing a style more suited to football played in, say, Italy. Score a goal and then shut up shop. Ugh.
I don’t think it was an instruction tbh. I think putting downs on gives us no outlet. The midfield were poor. The fullbacks got pinned back in the stupid system. We weren’t instructed to sit deep, it’s just that we are terrible and QPR played OK.
Not sure about that for a forward. A lot is instinctive & he doesn’t (at this time) look to have an idea. Plus the other points I mentioned. It was more a dig at Spors anyway. Just can’t see DD providing us with anything / much this season & that’s the kicker. Ps. For a tallish lad, don’t think I’ve seen him head the ball successfully yet.
You need to watch yesterday's game more closely then, as he beat the CB in a header to flick it on - Azaz nearly got in his way for that one too, which goes back to my theory that in the advanced positions nobody really knows what they're meant to be doing yet.
