I don't understand what you are saying He ahs acknowledged the facts We have taken 21 points from ou past 8 games We just lost this game making it 21 out of 24 points
And when I said we could bea Chhelase at the Brige you called me an idit Wehn I predicted we oculd go on a winning streak and beat Pool, Everton and N'Castle you called me an idiot Time will tell, but you see I have faith in Arsenal so I don't really care what you think of my predictions
10 games to go I said we needed 6 wins and 2 draws to get 4th (not 3rd) - I had QPR down a s a definite win, but AW saw to it we lost. So with 7 to go we need 4 more wins, 2 draws, and can only afford 1 loss. It depends on whether Wenger destroys the team with more stupid decisions and whether we can keep some confidence. I can't see us only losing 1 more game in 7 now (after today). I think we go 3 wins 2 draws and 2 losses, leaving us on 69 points. That will be very very close.
Maybe you just make deliberately dumb comments without thinking ? Explain how 21 pts from a 7 game winning streak equates to us losing any of them ???
Wolves, Norwich, Wigan, WBA are all VERY winnable Chelsea,a nd Stoke could be tough draws City can go either way so I'll put this down as the loss to fit into your model
QPR was very winnable too. Let's not forget that we have totally fallen apart under pressure year after year. It's assuming a lot to say we won't do it again.
And we can also assume we won't QPR was winnable but we lost...Poor tatics and a poor attitude, let's move on
We have fallen apart, but this season we are improving in the same period. You weren't honestly expecting us to win every remaining game? Is that your benchmark of not "falling apart"?
Because, we just got our arse handed to us by QPR, what makes you think we can go and win all remaining games when we can't even beat QPR ?? Straight up idiots you and OXO.
You were out-fought today. We were really up for it and it looked like Arsenal thought all they had to do was turn up!! And your fans!!!? I've never heard 3k people make so little noise!!
Actually we lost 9 games so far in the EPL this season, some of which like this one we shouldn't have lost. Had the team played with more determination as our opponents did today, we may have got something this afternoon. As it is we didn't and it is this sort of performance that will get us nowhere. We won 7 previous matches which is great but look at the ones we lost before that like all the ones we lost in January - take heed - ALL the EPL games in January. Today we lost to a team that is essentially poorer than ours and all because we did not play as though we were looking to win. The players may have expected to win the match. Who knows? However at this level and at this stage of the season, given that QPR were staving off relegation and that we ourselves were after third, this is certainly not a third place-netting performance and of that, like many, I am justifiably disappointed. Nothing wrong with saying that.
Seems to me that the fans are the ones falling apart under pressure. One loss after a 7-game winning streak and suddenly people are panicking and screaming about Wenger having to go and blah, blah, blah. Maybe work on your own mental strength before bemoaning the team's.
It's very easy for some to say we are caught up in the moment and see this loss as being graver than it might be but the reality is it represents our fourth loss in twelve matches and comes at a time when we should be winning matches like these against teams like QPR. In reality this is another game that got away and stands alongside several this season and for all too many seasons. If we aspire to be winners again then too many of these won't get us what we want.
Indeed. Truth is we've had these issues for over 4 years, but some like to say it's knee jerk after one game to make themselves feel better - even though we've been calling out the issues we have for years.
