Good question and I expect the club will already be taking to his club ...

.... we're not the shambles we once were.

Imagine the tectonic strop he'd throw if Man Utd said no <laugh>

had a quick read and watched the start of managers interview...'we must keep the ball out of our goal better' (not an exact quote) kind of sums it up from them, good to see the old terrace humour is still there though...i remember when we were sinking faster than the titanic the humour kept us going.

might have tried to pop in with a few encouraging words but not one of them noticed or cared about the constant fouling especially on our keeper, so i will enjoy the result and look forward to our next game, will also keep half an eye on their next game (boro i believe) and allow myself a little smile if they lose.

Was it Alese who hid the ball up the back of his shirt immediately after the Reading winner?

Amazing effort, well done all. It makes it all the more funny when clubs bring a few hundred to us and they get excused because ''it's a long way''. - as if northbound miles are somehow longer than southbound miles.

We really are a joy to watch. When this team senses blood, they really go for the jugular. QPR's heads dropped when Patto saved the penalty and we put them to the sword.

It could easily have been 5 or 6.

How Dozzell stayed on the park was a complete mystery. Should have been booked 4 times. A few of their players completely lost it in the second half and started kicking anything above ground. They got what they deserved. Nowt!

The togetherness of the whole staff (coaching and playing) is there for all to see and the players are being given a licence to express themselves while still remaining structured. Competition for places is rife and they are all chomping at the bit to earn their place in the team.

The scary thing is, we are only just getting started. This team will continue to improve, both individually, and as a unit. Our level of recruitment has been astounding and further pieces of the jigsaw will be added in the summer, no matter what division we are in.

After 10+ years with very little to cheer apart from relegation escapes, we have a team on the up that we can be rightly proud of and with the right level of future investment, I shudder to think what we can achieve.

To bring us back down to earth, it is fair to point out that we need to start games better and I'm sure that's something we will work on. Other than that, just keep doing what you are doing boys, because you are bringing so much joy to so many of us fans.

    Short and stout,
    Here is my handle
    Here is my spout
When I get all steamed up,
    Hear me shout,
Tip me over and pour me out!!
