This, the side settled down on Saturday after O'nien came on.

If, as suggested, Cirkin moves into the middle and Alese plays as a striker we will need a LB (Onion or Huggins)
(Don’t take this post seriously by the way)

Totally agree he's a talented lad but he needs help down the left. Needs to work on getting to the byline and crossing rather than cutting in every time if he's isolated.

Interesting point at the end re squad depth I thought. Seemed to be worried ours would be the one thing that would hold us back this season. I suspect he is thinking about the centre forward position. Tempering expectations or genuinely worried by it? Bit of both probably.

Who of us would've thought Mowbray would ever make us laugh out loud ...

... the bloke is just cool without realising it <laugh>

TBH I thought he was talking about the likes of Blackburn who have nothing in reserve ...

... our bench on Saturday was ridiculously talented.

£10m players, World Cup players, European Cup players, ex-PL players, etc ... the stuff of dreams.

He definitely said our squad depth and using inexperienced players compared to those who can bring on an international centre forward from the bench. I think he is just trying to keep feet on the ground for a bit longer, but he will be as excited with the young lads as anyone I am sure.

You can tell he is when you listen to him. He seems to have great words for every player and a real enjoyment in the football we play.

Any club can pull out a big following in certain games ...

... we do it for midweek Championship games when it's watchable on Sky.

    Good luck to everyone going.

Gary Rowett, the Millwall manager, was on TV all misty eyed and overwhelmed that they took 3000 to QPR on a Saturday afternoon ...

    .... it's NINE MILES FFS <laugh>

That's like people from Hetton being praised for making the trek to the SOL.

@RTB Well done on another great piece of work. Changes are needed but I still think we have enough to get 3pts. Going for a 1-2 (Roberts & Pritchard).
