But you´re basing QPR´s sudden revival on one game, rather flimsy evidence on which to launch a theory/fact. And anyway just what do you maintain is wrong about my argument in #117? I didn´t claim that new managership in general doesn´t make any difference, no doubt it will, and has, to some clubs, Í´m just very doubtful that it will make any difference to the bunch of players we have.
So are you actually advocating the club sticks rather than twists, despite patently obvious signs of another season sliding away into the ether, RBF? I know you're a staunch supporter of the current boardroom set up but that's not what I'm asking.
So you think just three of the many teams that have changed managers makes it a fact? Sorry ILD, but I disagree!
Yes - I´ve already said on another thread that I think we should keep him until the end of the season, to see what sort of job he can make of it, and if nothing much changes, then look around for someone new, then. But then you see, I´m not as furiously impatient as most of you on here, for getting back up to the PL, and I don´t think it´s necessarily imperative that it happens this year, either.
I´ve already answered that, I was just questioning your inclusion of QPR. And, I´ll ask you again, what exactly did you find wrong with #117, because until we do have a new manager, with this group of players, and our fortunes either go up or down, or remain the same, my opinion can´t be proven or disproven by you, me or anyone else.
That's fine you're entitled to disagree. But it's still the truth. If you're satisfied to leave the situation as it is, as RBF seems to be advocating then I dispair, it's failing for all to see and the manager has no solution to it apart from "hoping" the balance comes back, (his words not mine)! So we'll wait until it's too late again eh, hope you two will be satisfied with that?
I've already answered that. So my opinion can't be proven or disproven by you me or anyone else! It works both ways in my world if not in yours!
But a lot of people were applauding him and saying how great it was that he came down and got involved and stuck in straight away. Surely that counts as new manager bounce doesn't it, or was that false as well?
By the way RBF, I'm not going to keep going back to previous posts just so you can cross a "t". You told me in no uncertain terms that I was wrong in a past posting, I didn't keep bleating on about it!
ILD, a good few years ago John Beck very nearly took Cambridge to the top flight! If that's the style of football you want to watch then I feel sorry for you! A new manager coming to us would be in the Pulis or Colin mode and we all know what that would mean!
Where have I said I want this or that style of football? So the only managers we can expect to get in YOUR opinion are long ball merchants? What about that bloke we got from Colchester a few years back.........Paul....,,? That's a pathetic attempt at an argument Dave.
Of course it's NEVER your fault is it. Pathetic! And as I said ( which you are choosing to ignore) I'm not going back so you can nitpick dotting "I's" or crossing "T's"!
