Fair enough Cromer ,apologies for the misinterpretation. However, it is not a refusal to accept that all is not well. It is clear for all to see that there are problems at Carrow Road. The team are playing with no confidence and AN appears incapable of turning things round. Those of you who were moaning when were were 2nd in the table and calling for a change in manager, well, it appears that you are being proved right . You prophesied doom and gloom, and sure enough we are sliding down the table. However. I would not be at all surprised when the new manager is at the helm , and inevitably we hit a poor run of form, , the same people will be clamouring for a change. You see, some supporters are patient, but the vast majority are less so. It does not necessarily mean that some or "happy clappers"and that others are "doom and gloom merchants". People will always have different expectations of their team ....but whichever camp you fall into, you are neither right or wrong.
As much as I believe AN should be sacked with immediate effect, IMO as long as Delia et al are stinking out the boardroom we will be going around in circles forever and a day
But telling people that their views are flat out "wrong" is okay then? I found that quite aggressive but didn't harp on about it!
No, I do not think it is OK ........but haven't you heard that 2 wrongs don't make a right ? And nobody is harping on about it , at least not as much as you do about Naismith. Not so long ago you posted that he should be dropped on his head......some may have found that a tad aggressive .....but I won't harp on about any further.
Surely if you have a different view to someone else and you believe in what you say then their view has to be wrong, doesn't it. Sometimes it's better to just take a break from the forum for a day or two, or alternatively grow a thicker skin. I don't think there's any need for posters to personalise arguements or be abusive, but equally if you think someones wrong there's no harm in saying they're wrong. After all we're all adults, aren't we ?
That wasn't a comment about anyone on this board, which is what you were referring to! What does the "2 wrongs don't make a right" reference mean? RFB told me that I was wrong in my opinion\view, what gives him the right to say that? I left it for a while then responded in kind to see what the reaction would be, throwing toys out of pram.....exactly as I expected, and now you're doing it as well! Okay 555, so only people who agree with you can have valid opinions? This is a classic "Ive lost the argument" response!
Agree with most of what you posted , but certainly not with your initial assumption that if your opinion differs to someone else's, you are implying that they are wrong. Some on the forum will prefer to be entertained by free flowing football at the possible expense of promotion to the promised land, whereas others would be prepared to accept a more direct style if it meant climbing up the table. Differing opinions but neither is wrong. I have assumed that your remark about personalising arguments and being abusive refers back to an earlier exchange between ILD and RBF. Are we all adults ? .......I am left wondering sometimes.
You don't even have to tell them they're wrong, just say you don't agree with them and tell them why you don't. All this wailing and gnashing of teeth is pretty pointless really, things could be much worse, we could have Mad Mick McCarthy as our manager and freshly painted bright blue turnstiles!! Imagine that!!!!
Yep, I think I saw the ref just look at his watch...again, so extra-extra time must be fast approaching! Mind you, the way this thread is going, there'll be a shoot out soon...and it'll be on the heath with muskets, not from the penalty spot with a football
My toys remain firmly in the pram ......and I don't think I suggested for one minute that my opinions are the only ones that are valid...to the contrary I believe. The way you ended your last posting would suggest to me that perhaps you are the one that has to be right all the time ? Anyway, shall we return to footballing matters.? I think Naismith is ace , much maligned and underrated.
Such a sensitive soul , aren't you..... 3 exclamation remarks, you really did take it to heart. What made you think I was referring specifically to you ?
Doesn't matter who you were referring to, it's offensive, exactly what you said was wrong. No I'm not sensitive, I would have thought my posts would have given you a different opinion, but then I think you only see what you want to. Can you find something else wrong with this comment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
