The real problem at the moment is not the fact that we are staring relegation in the face (we may well be but I believe that there are at least four teams in the division who are worse than us), but the fact that apathy is setting in because of the style (sic) of football we play and the sense of general malaise. I just can't be bothered to go at the moment because I know I won't be entertained. I can handle losing but I'm not paying the thick end of thirty quid to watch ten men behind the ball and any one of a headless chicken/hoof-ball target/waste of space (delete as appropriate) up front.
According to 'sources', Powell will be given the ammo in January to go all out for promotion. The worry must be that we are now getting so far behind that CPs task will be Mission Impossible.
I must be a masochist because I will go regardless of what style of football we play. I just stump up my Season ticket money at the beginning of the season and will go along fearing the worst but hoping for the best. I don't go to as many away games as I used to but that is due to the fact that I can't afford it.
