Like lots of people, including some on here. They're perfectly entitled to express their opinions, just as everyone else is entitled to disagree if they want to. Not sure what your point is.
**** me, all I did was post about her being named a Dame. A woman born and bred in 'Ull and proud of it and who mentions 'Ull in just about every interview she gives. So some people can't just see that, they have to turn the thread into racist remarks....well done.
Not one comment about Rashford's accomplishment either. Had I anticipated any reaction like this, I'd never have created the thread. Totally disappointing, yet my mistake for not digging further into the background of the recipients of the honours I suppose.

Me too actually Never really liked them but they’re supposed to be great live Plus I had free VIP tickets and a meal and free beer. ...and whilst it seemed important at the time I genuinely can’t remember why I didn’t go!
Couldn’t give them away unfortunately or I would have done. It was an invite on a table with someone beforehand and they might have noticed!
There was a great documentary done by the BBC ( I thnk ?) a year or so ago on Jeff Lynne. He's bloody brilliant. Deserves his honour too.
