I know he is back in your good books really AB. You are coming round to his ways.

I think Pardew is the best manager for Newcastle

I think in a poll Pards was voted 4th in the current running for manager of the year behind Rodgers, Martinez and Wenger. Obviously there is a long way to go but it shows how highly his achievements are thought of. Rodgers is running away with it though. I think it said he was something like plus 19 points at this stage last year!

You have to think that without Suarez the picture would be rather different for Liverpool, standing firm and not letting him go in the summer transfer window was the real masterstroke for Rodgers, for us it's a bit of a concern that Remy has gone off the boil a bit and has lost some of his goalscoring form, the good news is the contribution from the other players and Cabaye in particular that has kept the run going. The January transfer window is going to be interesting as to whether any one will go after Suarez and if we can hold on to our best players, I do think that France making it through to the World Cup Finals has energised some of our French players.

Yeah, Remy doesn't quite seem himself. I don't just mean because he's not scored so many in the last few games, but more his ball control, awareness and decision making seems a little lacking. maybe he's distracted by the forthcoming court case? As you say, others have been playing well and in terms if value for money, Gouf must be right up there!

Suarez has been amazing the last few weeks and has helped make Liverpool a completely different force. But can he keep it up?

Depends how hungry he gets. With Suarez the concern would be controversy, not form.

Remy is merely suffering from a reactive league, but just like the season we finished 5th, you cannot just concentrate on one player. When lesser teams take on the likes of City, there's no single game plan because they're aware of the threat posed by Aguero, Nasri, Navas, Silva, Toure, etc., it's impossible to single anyone out. So teams try and play there game, and subsequently get hammered at the Etihad. With Newcastle, there's a reluctance to consider our other players, teams appear to think - right, there's Remy, stick two on him and we'll come away with something. We seem to come unstuck when lesser teams just say "fck it, let's give it a go" a la Hull, Sunderland!!

It does seem a strange setup you guys have, not a Pards fan but he seems to be doing a decent job. The Kinnear thing is weird (IMO)
