Whatever will be will be and the Chairboys go into their last league game of the season against the Brewers at the Pirelli hoping results go their way and there is nothing we can do about the other results so the job in hand is to do the double over our hosts and to be fair we owe them a thrashing after getting one ourselves at AP in the EFL Trophy, although we did gain some sort of revenge with a 2-1 win back in December.
Gaz is likely to name an unchanged line up although Wing returns after suspension and could start and with Mehmeti, Hanlan and Thompson all wearing a surgical boot last Saturday during the teams lap of honour all will be unlikely to be in the squad.
I will be at Slashers gaff along with the lad having a few beers and watching the game anyway we can hoping for a big win for the lads but knowing we have already achieved our best ever points tally in the 3rd tier. But it's still all to play for so COME ON YOU BLUES<cheers>

I was going to watch this if Sheff W had lost on Tuesday but, as there are 3 other matches to keep an eye on I think I'll be glued to the BBC and Twitter.

We are at that final stage where we now know exactly what is required

    If we lose
Plymouth must lose by at least 2 more goals than us

    If we draw
    Plymouth must lose or
Sunderland must lose by at least 3 more goals than us

    If we win
Plymouth must either lose or draw, or win by at least 2 goals less than us or
Sunderland must draw or lose or
Sheff W must lose, or if they draw we must win by a margin of 2+ how ever many Sheff W score

    Plymouth home to MK Dons
    Sunderland away to Morecambe
    Sheff W home to Portsmouth

MK Dons need the win to stand any chance of auto promotion and that will only be if Rotherham do not beat Gillingham. Gillingham will be relegated if they lose to Rotherham. If they draw they will avoid relegation if Fleetwood lose

Morecambe will be safe from relegation with a draw, unless Gillingham beat Rotherham by at least 3 goals

Confused? You will be tomorrow afternoon. There could be more twists in this than an Agatha Christie novel

PS can someone check my figures please

As Gaz said on WWTV this is Wycombe leaving it until the last game we do seem to make a habit of it

I bet you look back at those scenarios later Guy, when goals are going in all over the place and the nerves kick in <laugh>
