We need ASM. Take out Mongstaff and put big Joe in there. ASM will have plenty of fun on the wing. Maybe put Isak on too. Wilson looks a smidge off it. Could be a few up but at 0-0 it's still anyone's game. I'm keeping the faith but concerned they will nick this

For me, I'd take off Wilson and Longstaff for ASM and Isak. We need momentum and game changers on the field, Joelinton needs to control the middle - Longstaff just looks ****ing lost these days - and Wilson's been average at best, Isak has better movement.
100%. It's the most glaring error of Howe's recently, persevering with Longstaff. He should've changed it after Leeds, I don't believe in letting players keep their place when they play really badly, it's not strong management to me.
What I don't get is, we did EXACTLY this against Leeds. It's almost identical. The line-up, the balance of play, and - critically - the score. For me, Longstaff has been poor since So'ton, isn't a great player and we have no threat down the left since we shifted Joelinton forward. It makes complete sense to get Joe/Bruno/Joe back and bring either ASM or Isak into LW.
