I'll be happy with anything so long as it's at home.

Simple fact is we were dogshit and went through last night, and the fact we went through is a huge positive. One defeat in the last 7 despite being dogshit in just about all the games (we were good against Villa)? I'll take it.

Thus we are defying the odds.

The odds that playing awfully will get us beaten. Which it normally will.

Quick reminder, we haven't won at home since we beat 10-man Fulham in mid-December.

If we play like that we won't win anything mate.. if I thought this manager was aware and would drop his mates I'd be more confident.

Once again those are odds we won't win anything. We don't necessarily know we'll play like that next game, obviously City would kill a team playing like we did.

Fair point, although we were unlucky not to beat Bournemouth as it was just an unfortunate slip

Think we'll get a home draw but lose it. I'll go Wolves/Brighton home.

There's only one draw we can have confidence this team can win and it's Coventry at home, but odds are against that considerably.

Well I've made my bet, but nobody will be surprised at drawing L'pool or City. It all feels a bit irrelevant because there's absolutely zero chance anyone outside of these two is winning the Cup.

Ultimately are Newcastle good enough to win this competition? The answer is no, so I suppose losing next round will be better anyway.

Apparently we've lost 9 times in a row at Wembley... Jesus this club is a joke.

I had seven yes and then I wanted to check what the all time consecutive record was and the 1st thing google popped up with was Newcastle United 9.

Is there a couple of semis or something we're missing in our tally?

Confidence if we play like last night? I'd favour Coventry.

Everything depends on what performance we put in rather than the draw.

At home I'm sure we'd beat Coventry.

Unless they draw each other, but I'm pretty damn sure that won't be allowed to happen ...
