It depends how we're talking. If we're talking about a relegation fight- Chester, Aluko, Koren, Elmo, Melyer and Quinn. If we're talking about trying to establish ourselfs in the Permier League- Chester, Aluko and Koren are probably the only ones good enough to be in more than just a relegation dog-fight side.
I agree the EPL would benefit the free flowing passing football we play as players will find themselves having extra time on the ball. That's why im so shocked people doubting the likes of Quin's, Koren's and TC capability in the prem!
I'm sure they where doubts about the likes of Leon Britton, Ashley Williams, Grant Holt, Wes Hoolahan etc. Virtically all of Norwich squad have been signed from lower leagues.
The gap between the leagues is always massive- we might need a Geo type figure in the first season to give us a bit of class or bank on Koren playing even better in the top league, still don't understand why West Brom let him go seems bizarre to me
This sums it up for me. You just can't say who will make it and who won't. There are so many examples of players going up a league and not coping, others going up and coping fine, some even coming down and struggling (look at Bolton and Wolves' entire squads this season). The only ones I'd be confident about predicting are that Chester and Hobbs will be absolutely fine. Those two are better than half the CBs already in the PL. People like Cairney might be better off with more space and time. Bruce, McShane and Faye (for various reasons) might be exposed fairly regularly. Fryatt is a good example, everyone knows I'm not a big fan of him and I'd be tempted to say he won't get the 10 chances he needs to score at that level, but what's to say he wouldn't benefit from more time to get the sodding thing under control and get a proper shot off more often? But then as someone said above his lack of pace might cost him. It's just impossible for anyone to say. Evans as well, would his lack of quality be exposed or would his determination and battle be valuable for us?
He may only get one chance per game in the Prem, as a striker in the Prem you have to be able to do a lot more than just put the ball in the net.
