Having listened to our early season match commentaries and read the comments in the Preston match thread I feel that whilst we appreciate the tightening up of our defence ultimately it is becoming clear pre-season and the past three games that if we were to conceed a goal we would be in major trouble as we do not look like scoring in most of the games. Last nights formation was never going to suit the players who played last night and does not it appear suit any of our offensive players period. If and when we conceed a goal we need to be able to change the system and be more offensive and also we need to realise the strengths of our players and not put square pegs in round holes. All good managers need to be able to adapt and it will ultimately be wins that will keep us in the Premeirship and not draws. I am not asking us to be reckless but just more adventurous when it becomes clear that plan "A" is not working well enough in a game to earn us a win unless we were to get lucky.
