I was going to stick a match thread up if someone hadn't done so - well done remote. What do you call that lineup? Looks for all the world like a 4-4-2 to me. Pelts, Connolly, Manga and Benno at the back, midfield 4 of Bamba at the rear with Ralls just in front and Paterson and Hoilett providing the width. Whadyaknow - a Zohore/Healey front line that certainly has goals in it. C'mon City - turn the recent crap around and give us a win today!!
Or 3 5 2 with wingbacks and Patterson, Ralls and Hoilett in the middle? Hope the changes are considered a d not a knee jerk reaction.
No worries Sparkey. Just happened to be looking on line when the team was posted. An interesting selection. Healey as a genuine 10 or the most advanced midfielder? 442 or 352? Or a 4141? Who knows. Healey getting beyond Ken does look apitising though!! As I said on the transfers thread though, someone needed to provide the ammo.
Saw that Bluey - I make that only 6 (unless Mendez Laing is two people ) That must make it clear just how bad is our injury problem.
No Tomlin or bogle!! Pilks always seemed a better winger than striker to me. Wouldn't mind him on the right for the last 15 mins.
Hoilett equaliser disallowed for offside. Possible deflection off QPR defender. Colin not happy. Me neither!!!
From what I could see on my phone video City should never have lost that game. Another dreadful goal to concede from a throw in again and a deflected winner whilst City threw everything at QPR but just couldn’t score. Plus as usual 2 refereeing decisions went against City. And so ends a terrible terrible Xmas period.
Was down the other end but looked to me like our defender got the final touch. Penalty looked incredibly soft but again I was miles away so would like another look. Draw would have been fair as we were atrocious in the first half and couldn’t get out from the barrage of long throws. Second half I think we nullified that well and was a lot more worried when you tried to play on the ground but I think Warnock reverted to all out long ball too soon.
