    Match Preview;
I want to get the thread up whilst still excited from our win and good performance this afternoon. How we got from the performance against Barnsley to our performance today is beyond me...only explanation is that the changes made to the line up where spot on. Let's hope the fitness holds and we can put out the same side for this game. A few of our players were clearly cramping up and exhausted toward to the end today, so it may be that the challenge for this game is choosing the right players to rest, and the right players to bring in. I'd love to see Willock get a goal or two, as he puts in a lot of effort when he comes on, and seems like he deserves something to show for his contribution.

Wycombe are bottom of the table, and after their 2-0 loss to Stoke today, sit 12 points from safety, and have lost their last 3 games. They have conceded 57 goals this year, which is the worst in the division by 6 goals, and so here's hoping that we can put out an attacking line up and go for a high scoring game. As for their scorers, Jacobson and Kashket are their top scorers, with 4 goals each. For the sake of their manager, ex-Ranger, Gareth Ainsworth, I'd love them to go on an amazing run and somehow do the impossible and escape the drop, but I fear it may be another spell for them in League 1, hopefully to build a stronger squad and come back up able to do well.

I'll add team news when I know more, enjoy those who are watching, and as always...

    ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!

Thanks Dave. I'm happy to see Wycombe secure a bottom 3 position it means one less for us to avoid. 3 more points please.

Yeh right, and let their winning run start when we have 55 points.

Crumbs. We have yet to finish fully celebrating the comfortable and classy victory in Bristol, and this next match thread appears.

Yes, the matches are coming thick and fast.

I have a dilemma with the choice of the starting eleven. I guess I would be tempted to stay with the Saturday’s starting eleven if fit, however this is contrary to “using the full squad” and possibly the match tactics.

I envisage Cameron returning, as he is our captain, but I would be reluctant to make many changes.

    Any thoughts and ideas?

The danger is after such a convincing win we go into this match over confident and get caught out. Wycombe may be bottom but apart from the Brentford game have been competitive, we shouldn't under estimate them. I think it will be a tight match and a narrow win for us...

Wycombe do not have anything to lose. No one really expects them to stay up however I guess that there are a few on here that would like them to stay up due to the Gareth connection plus the fact there are a few "creative accounting" teams. It will be a tough game, maybe a time to start Uncle Albert and give him 45 mins rather than the 15 or 20 so far given.

I wish Gareth Ainsworth all the best and that we win. Well. I doubt his job is on the line this season IF we concentrate and do a job on them because he has taken them further than they've ever been before and they've done better than most people expected. So here's hoping for a clinical and efficient performance and not our stumbling 'couldn't be bothered' attitude that we seem to reserve for the teams scrapping at the bottom of the table.

I remember thinking what a refreshing change having a manager play to our strengths and a side that routinely duffed up the relegation fodder. That was the Warnock promotion season. Then I went with the boy to watch them at Scunthorpe and it started fine - we even scored first. One of the two games I think where Rob Hulse actually managed to score. Then the Rangers we all know and hate took over and we departed their stadium having been trounced 4-1. Experience redeemed by that Rangers fan sense of humour.

Like the clip posted v Rushden and Diamonds, QPR v Wycombe in a league match sounds like something has gone seriously wrong somewhere.

    No offence meant.

Narrow QPR win, won’t be pretty.

    Cheers Dave.

Definitely a banana skin match especially after Saturdays excellent performance..

    A Tuesday match too...

Will there be any sentiments between the teams. I hope not ...and maybe for once the lack of crowd may not be a bad thing. With some of crowd chanting for Wild Thing..

I just hope we don’t get sucked in to their style of play as we did against Barnsley
