Match Preview;
I want to get the thread up whilst still excited from our win and good performance this afternoon. How we got from the performance against Barnsley to our performance today is beyond me...only explanation is that the changes made to the line up where spot on. Let's hope the fitness holds and we can put out the same side for this game. A few of our players were clearly cramping up and exhausted toward to the end today, so it may be that the challenge for this game is choosing the right players to rest, and the right players to bring in. I'd love to see Willock get a goal or two, as he puts in a lot of effort when he comes on, and seems like he deserves something to show for his contribution.
Wycombe are bottom of the table, and after their 2-0 loss to Stoke today, sit 12 points from safety, and have lost their last 3 games. They have conceded 57 goals this year, which is the worst in the division by 6 goals, and so here's hoping that we can put out an attacking line up and go for a high scoring game. As for their scorers, Jacobson and Kashket are their top scorers, with 4 goals each. For the sake of their manager, ex-Ranger, Gareth Ainsworth, I'd love them to go on an amazing run and somehow do the impossible and escape the drop, but I fear it may be another spell for them in League 1, hopefully to build a stronger squad and come back up able to do well.
I'll add team news when I know more, enjoy those who are watching, and as always...
...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
