Get ****ing in there!!! Huge 3 points, somehow we hung on there. 2nd half was a nightmare. Stay top of the league and I got my 1st prediction right for us !! Woohoo. Shame Burnley came from 2 down to win 4-2 ffs. Sheffield cane back to draw 2-2 with Norwich. Blackburn won 2-1 and Millwall won in last minute v Brom. U rrrrrrr'sssss

Terrific result. We’re building slowly. Tough game, which we all knew it would be really. We fought back for the lead. Held on when they threw caution to the wind to try and get something out of the game. A few strange refereeing decisions (par for the course in this league it seems).
Could see what MB was doing bringing Dickie on but don’t think it worked. We gritted it out though and took all 3 points. Still top, a game in hand on Blackburn and a point on Burnley in third.
A gap of 5 days now for everyone to refresh and head for Brum for another tough game. Let’s hope Johansen is OK. Roll-on Rrrrrssss.

Not really been able to follow this afternoon other than goal updates. Just read through this thread and sounds like we rode our luck. That said, such a good sign to ride our luck and still win! Exactly the sort of game we'd have drawn or even lost in the past, so very encouraging to get all three points.

Should add that the crowd was great especially second half, lots of noise.

Thought we were very inconsistent today.

In the first half we were a mix of sublime close one touch football that was a joy to watch together with scrappy football.

In the second half, we were much less fluid and generally scrappy with flashes of brilliance, e.g. Chairs’ brilliant twist and turns, and cross the was not converted, or the point blank save from Dykes.

A mixed bag, but a great 3 points.

However, if I were a Wigan fan, then I would be disappointed not to score in the second half and get a draw.

Another three points but we were pretty ordinary. Second best for most of the first half and all of the second. Field superb again.
