Odd to choose a photo with very bored looking fans for that message….or is that a typical Swans pic?

Read this comment earlier this evening:

“Vincent Kompany has been in charge 6 months, yet is the 9th longest servicing manager in the Championship.”

    Longest serving Championship Managers:

    1) Mark Robins (Coventry City)

    2) Gary Rowett (Millwall)

    3) Nigel Pearson (Bristol City)

    4) Russell Martin (Swansea City)

Does that include QPRnuts? He’s on the way with a bunch of mates too, also aiming for the C&S at midday. Seems like it will be an Irish pub for the day. I aim to get there by 1:00.

Picture from the match at Loftus Road on 2nd February 1980 - Robbie James chasing a QPR player. Any ideas about the identity of your player?

QPR ran out 3-2 winners in a Second Division match.

Russell Martin has named the same team that were victorious at Sunderland for this afternoon’s Championship meeting with Queens Park Rangers.

Having made seven changes for the midweek FA Cup tie against Bristol City, the Swans head coach reverts to the XI that started at the Stadium of Light.

Steven Benda is in goal, with Joel Latibeaudiere, Ben Cabango, Harry Darling and Ryan Manning making up the back four.

Captain Matt Grimes, Joe Allen and Jay Fulton continue in midfield, with Ollie Cooper set to operate ahead of the trio.

Liam Cullen and Joel Piroe lead the line for the visitors.

Swansea City: Steven Benda; Joel Latibeaudiere, Ben Cabango, Harry Darling, Ryan Manning; Jay Fulton, Matt Grimes (captain), Joe Allen, Ollie Cooper; Liam Cullen, Joel Piroe.

Substitutes: Andy Fisher, Olivier Ntcham, Luke Cundle, Nathan Wood, Kyle Naughton, Matty Sorinola, Cameron Congreve.

Queens Park Rangers: Seny Dieng, Jimmy Dunne, Rob Dickie, Lyndon Dykes, Ilias Chair, Tyler Roberts, Sam Field (captain), Jamal Lowe, Kenneth Paal, Ethan Laird, Tim Iroegbunam,

Substitutes: Jordan Archer, Osman Kakay, Jake Clarke-Salter, Stefan Johansen, Chris Willock, Andre Dozzell, Albert Adomah.

One change, Lowe in for Willock. Nice to see Steff on the bench too.
