I can only presume this is a 4-3-1-2 which has its complications and implications. The 3 have to cover the wide areas aswell so they best be bloody good communicators!
None at all! Ah well, I'm expecting a more direct approach. Points on the board are more important than performances right now.
Would any line-up or formation fill you with confidence though? The unpredictability of whether this is a 5-3-2, 4-3-2-1, diamond or something else is the most excitement we’ve had in some time.
I'm pleased to see someone up top with Dykes (assuming that's where Bonne will play). I think I'd have preferred to see Kelman given a go, though.
I hope that it is a 4-3-1-2 . Seven players who defend when they have the ball and then a long(er) ball outlet where Dykes knocks the ball down for Bonne and Chair.
He doesn’t want to make things easy does he? 2 strikers at last but now with no width nor creativity. A manager who overthinks everything and incapable of making the obvious choices:
Interesting formation and tactics today. I honestly believe he's been told to try something different by higher up. I'm interested to see this. It seems like a positive change to try and penetrate teams more. Let's see. Could be a disaster, too
A fancy name like Cabango at centre-half won’t know what’s hit him when we start playing like Dave Bassett’s Wimbledon.
