I’m a fan of his. Definitely has a place, even if it’s coming off the bench or covering for injuries…if only he wasn’t so injury prone himself of course.
He’s 31. I’m guessing it won’t be a long extension and he won’t be earning top dollar. He’s in a fight with Kolli for first reserve striker. Although Vale could easily play striker as well as anywhere else.
Having said that with the effort that Burrell and Kone put in they can’t be asked to play the full game every game, especially as we do more 3 game weeks.
Of course you are right, so Kone and Burrell can play every minute of every game. Hooray.
Don’t see why they can’t sneak in a Hull away game on Friday evening.
