I would guess back to Manc land. I have a soft spot for Kakay so not overly bothered in the grand scheme of things
If Laird is unavailable for whatever reason, that was the team of my choice for this game especially if it is a 4 2 3 1 with Chair, Willock and Roberts in the 3 behind Dykes. But one of the 3 at least, needs to be making runs into their area to support Dykes. I think we need Dykes at the back as well for the set pieces against with S.U..
I drove past Brentford F.C. tonight and there's a game on now. And I just thought to myself about how bad of a situation we are in as a club. Pisspot stadium (although we love it), no money for transfers, no sign of an improved stadium, no stability. Brentford have done everything the way we should have done it when we had the chance. Aaaanyway, about tonight: I'm tired of seeing totally different lineups each game. Manager needs to stick with the same 11 each week soon. We need consistency. We need to make it hard to push into the starting 11; every player now feels they have a chance to get on a team sheet each week, which means they won't have the same impetus to demand a starting spot by way of performances. Quite an attacking lineup tonight. I feel sorry for Shodipo losing a spot as he was the best player by far last outing. And what does Richards have to do to get ahead of Roberts?!
Yeah, it’s 4-5-1 or if Roberts can be arsed to run 4-4-2. Possibly , but I’m not in the mood to be fair. It’s pretty obvious that we must have some kind of obligation to play him, probably makes the loan cheaper. And/or he must be sensational in training. Richards has looked better in all of his little cameos and I have no idea why he doesn’t get a start for a change.
Yeah he was well on his heels when crosses went within his reach across their box. But he did hit the bar and present Dykes with a huge chance 2nd half. So I can see why he's got picked again, and maybe more starts after his injury will work for him and us.
Yep, Richards for Roberts imho If we fall behind I do hope he gives Armstrong a decent chance, not injury time.
