If you get his phone number I’ll be impressed.

I might have a look for a local non league game where I can have a stand to myself. Or rugby.

He's not been getting a lot of game time so have a word in his ear about coming to us for a 2 month loan period during January and February just to get him back to match fitness obviously, not for our benefit<whistle>

Eze won't be playing, be lucky to get on as a sub. Be worth watching Gallagher and Dennis though !

It seems that Jefferey Schlupp ( Left Wing Back ? ) is getting in ahead of Eze. Get him back on loan to cover for Chair. Just realised ... Schlupp represents Ghana, maybe he's away too?

Eze may well take quite a while to get back to the form that was so brutally ended by injury.
A lot of players are never the same following such a serious injury.
    Really upset for the lad.

I’m encouraged that Viera has him on the bench, and I think he played a bit last week, so quickly after such a big injury. I might be wrong but I don’t think pace plays a big part in his game - I don’t think he’s slow, but skill, vision and strength on the ball, which hopefully the injury won’t damage, were more his thing, like Adel. Confidence will be the big thing.

Yep. So want him to get back to where he was.
He was really starting to make an impression on the Premier League when he got injured.
    So, so talented.

He ruptured his Achilles’ tendon didn’t he? I was there when my dad did that, must have been very early seventies, playing squash. For some reason I was dragged along and was attempting to watch the most tedious spectator sport ever invented (and almost as bad to play in my experience). Then there was a sound very like a gunshot. Everyone, including my dad, was looking around to see where it came from, then he fell over as there was nothing to support his foot, which just dangled in a nasty sort of way. He said it didn’t hurt at all, and it took him some time to associate the sound of the snap to his injury. Thirty stitches up the back of his calf and a leg in plaster for weeks the result, plus a permanently stiff (but very strong with the scar tissue) ankle as a result.

I’m sure treatment has moved on hugely in the last 50 years!

Think he’d have had more of a chance if Gallagher hadn’t been so good. I assume Zaha is off to the ACON too so he’s capable of playing there.

    I'm sure it has.

Still one of the nasty ones I believe.

Always thought Eze floated or danced past defenders pretty quick, and barely anyone could catch him when he was gone, in the Championship anyway. Hope he will still have that.
