Just like to say Lee Hoos is an absolute gent. He came out here today as a PR exercise to appease disgruntled fans but he achieved all that was required and more. Brilliant lad who we are lucky to have.

I hope that's not the free beer talking Finglas <cheers>

I think some of you see the team more than I do and have got used to mediocre play!
Perhaps some of us see the team more than you do and see a team with a plan playing a pretty good team....and doing alright, nay actually even winning. As 999s and Terry say... a team that looks hard to beat..that is a good start

Early days as said before Durbar, but if they continue like this... no relegation battle this year...and with steady improvement and a striker maybe a good season

But early doors...but nothing there today to get too worried over imho

Off to get my free beer...Lee sent one to all QPR supporters I'm told...see if my pub has got mine ready

Just like to echo what Eamon said and have a funny story to share.

I went up to Lee Hoos and said I have a great idea, let"s get all the fans outside take a picture and put it on the tunnel wall.
And in true American enthusiasm he said that's really a great idea called everyone outside to take a group picture which should end up on the tunnel wall.

Anyway he came up to me later to congratulate me on this great idea (seemed pretty obvious to me) gave me his business card and said the next time I was in London for a game contact him so he would take me out for a drink!

We need at least 1 winger and a striker.I'd also like to see us get an attacking midfielder, but I doubt we'll get all 3 of these. If Gladwin is a regular starter we're ****ed,i just don't get what anyone sees in him,he's truly pathetic !

Nice one cuz. Sounds like Mr Hoos might have a had a couple of sweet sherries himself.

Many thanks to all the R's fans that made it a fun day.
Yes, it was a great day. The Dutch Superhoops fan group did a great job in making all the visitors feel very welcome. Very well organised from their point of view. If any of you lads and lasses are ever out in Holland working and want to enjoy a live televised QPR game, I highly recommend the Dutch Superhoops. The day was completed with a round of QPR music with everybody singing their hearts out. I hope Flanman made a few local buddies to enjoy future games with. I had a great day.

I did Eamon and met a Dutch guy on the train who came from the other end of the country for the get together who seemed very happy I was going to join their club.

True, but friendlies mean Jack ****.Just ask England !

You may have a point Junior but that's not a congruent comparison. If you consider that when England beat Germany, that side never played together again. The flawless results in qualifying ( 10 wins in 10 ) for the finals weren't friendlies but they also meant jackshit according to your logic.

Why would you seek a negative from what was a good result and performance against one of Europe's top sides?
