Nice one Dave

Unfortunately I can't be there tonight but really hoping against hope that we don't do the usual and **** this up

It would be very pleasing to have a winning run

Good luck to all those going tonight

Sadly, for him, you couldn’t make this up!
He is definitely a player with talent but it’s looking like his career is slowly spiralling downwards and away. You wonder when the point comes to medically retire and get on with a possible career in the game or elsewhere. Must be a very tough decision to make. Feel for the guy.
Seems we took an expensive gamble he could be fixed, and he can’t.

I thought he was a regular starter when Beale recruited him? Purely coincidence I know but his run of injuries started when Beale left. Somebody fixed him long enough to get a new contract even though injured at the time and he has not played in the League since signing the new contract. That's over a year now.

I believe he was out with injuries quite a lot before he joined us.

I can’t remember how many games have started “if we win tonight we go top, automatics, playoff place or even out of the relegation zone” only to be cheesed by the end of the game.
BUT if we win 8-0 we could go second or if Middlesbrough have been playing unregistered players and get a 5 point reduction this afternoon, we could go top

I noticed that. Win by 8 and we're in the automatic promotion places :1980_boogie_down:
However, more importantly, this is the sort of game we should be winning. Home against a team presumably low in confidence in the relegation zone. We really need to be putting these sides away.
But then we're QPR and we don't like to do the easy things - so a 2-1 loss to be expected <wah>

Lets not get carried away.
They are better than their position states. They beat Bristol City away and drew with Leicester and Coventry at home.

Local spies say they are a good solid team ...that will stay up with ease this year.

We do not do well against, park the bus teams that are looking to beat us on the breakaway.

I really do not want to have to say ..I told you so

I'd love it as Keegan once said. We'd actually being looking down at Marti and his feckless Foxes...

What do ww reckon to the team tonight?

Can see JS resting a few, maybe Varane, Burrell and Vale.
My prediction rather than what I want to happen is he’ll start Cook and rest/save from another yellow Mbengue.

Would expect the players subbed at HT to start this one but then you’d say if he’s going to swap a midfielder there’s not an obvious swap for Chopper Madsen whereas Field/Hayden for Varane makes more sense.

On the train now. The tension in carriage eight of the 16:50 is palpable.

I know Frey came in for some criticism in his last outing. However, with the benefit of hindsight it may have been better if we started with Frey and Kone came in later, we possibly would have seen more results from both.
I wonder if this would work tonight?
