I also thought Madsen was a very good playmaker with vision from his first games with us. Don't know what happened to him in the middle part of last season but probably all the critical opinions of the defensive part of his game and lack of appreciation of his passing played their part. He was good when he came back at the end of last season and now seems to get better every game, including tackling, heading, blocking shots and pathways to our goal, as well as his runs and passes like the one for Smyth when he came on against Oxford.

This season from 8 games we have 12 points. At the same stage last season we had 7. W1 D4 L3
That's promising, now if we can keep relatively injury free, unlike last season, who knows!
And last season we didn’t exceed 12 points until the 17th game….
