I think that depends on whose xG stats you look at. Flashscore had Hull on .97 against our 1.32 and West Brom on 1.76 against our 1.82, which could indicate some subjectivity involved in the assessment.

Yeah footystats seems to have different ones, but I think even there the point is clear - xG for West Brom of 1.76 and yet they scored 0, so clearly on the (admittedly flawed but still helpful) xG measure, our defence was not that great…
