FFS and I wish I'd said this at 1200 - we need to concentrate on the League ! How many 1st teamers today ? 4 or 5 ? And we always knew that Hughes second string were sh*t. Harry was never going to risk quality three days before City, and more importantly before Norwich which is certainly winable. Would we really want another Saturday in three weeks meaning an extra midweek game ? There have been years when I've been gutted to get beat in the Cup, but not this year.
Well at least we fought back a little and finished on the up, 2-4 doesn't sound quite so bad and Norwich lost 1-0 to Conference side Luton!
Disappointing but our priority should be the league. Qpr have never but a good cup side and in my lifetime I've only seen us reach 5/6 round getting knocked out against united away in late 1990s. Positive is jay boothroyd who seems to be playing like his life depends on it.

Was sure we would end up with a draw (possibly worse than a loss) when I saw the lineups. Only Fabio and Mackie who usually starts from start. You can say that they are Premier league players all you want, but doesn't help when you've never played together. Faurlin and Granero to slow to play together in the centre of midfield, was worried they'd get overrun on the counter and by the sound of it that is excactly what happened.
