He loaned him to Wycombe August to January where he played 22 games and scored 5 goals. When he returned to us he played 17* games and scored twice.
*( 8 started, 8 as a sub and a sub in an FA Cup game against MK Dons )
So in one season he played 20 more senior games than Goss who is 2 years his senior has played in his entire career (19), shows in a way how these academy players aren't exposed to enough rough and tumble of senior football, instead they play too much against lads of their own age......
Eze gained valuable experience at Wycombe thanks to Les, Holloway etc recognizing the benefits of sending players out on loan, and we are now seeing how vital such experience was for him.......
Goss didn't help himself by refusing to join Yeovil on loan last season........
