So in one season he played 20 more senior games than Goss who is 2 years his senior has played in his entire career (19), shows in a way how these academy players aren't exposed to enough rough and tumble of senior football, instead they play too much against lads of their own age...... Eze gained valuable experience at Wycombe thanks to Les, Holloway etc recognizing the benefits of sending players out on loan, and we are now seeing how vital such experience was for him....... Goss didn't help himself by refusing to join Yeovil on loan last season........
I feel his pain......and I love it!! Thanks for sharing. Just out of curiosity, how come it was a poor QPR team?
We've not mentioned the much maligned Joel Lynch as yet. I don't think the lad is as bad as often made out. I thought he had a decent game last night, perhaps bolstered by the addition of Cameron?
I thought he was excellent last night. I'd like to know exactly how many headers he won, particularly in the second half.
For what it's worth, I've just seen the EFL program and stick by my original thoughts -Eze stumbled as he collected the ball. He might have been able to stay on his feet but the clip from the defender meant there was no chance. Not a dive, not even an exageration. Possibly no pen but most probably was. The booking was criminal.
Yep, Lynch has won me over to a certain extenct. I'd still prefer Hall in there with one of the two that started on Wed though.
