Wahey! well done lads (bossed it and made it hard work to get the points, but we got there).
Just need the win on Weds to top off the season.
Got a run to do then it’s ‘beer-o’clock’ :emoticon-0102-bigsm :emoticon-0137-clapp

4 - 3 in something what looked like a friendly game at times. After the restart we showed that we do know how to play football.

I will miss BOS very much though. Him and Eze are the diamonds of this team.

We will face a very tough opposition next Wednesday and I really hope we can repeat todays performance.

Let's make a game of it and make then work for their promotion. They have stuttered in the last few games and if we take the game to them they could well be there for the taking. If they don't beat us they won't fancy their chances in the play offs.

Great result and showed to anyone who hadn't worked it out what our strength and weaknesses are. 4th highest scorers in the League behind the three who should go up yet the 3rd highest number of goals conceded. Not even all 3 sides who should go down have as porous a defence

Impressive stats from the R’s.
20 shots of which 12 were in target!

Today we have seen the best performance after the restart where the score might have been something like 10 - 5. Still we do have to admit that they knew the score (Cardiff was leading confidentially 2 - 0 most of the time) and their promotion hopes were scattered very soon.

More or less I am quite happy with the season and the time before the restart showed us the real potential of the team.

Happy we easily managed to stay in the league and perhaps there will be a decent team out there next season.

Me too. At least 65 highs which ain't bad for a side that was sliding into oblivion with nothing obviously positive to look forward to except a relegation battle. Now we can at least hope for next season.

Milwall kind of played to our strengths for most of the match, they didn't start pumping balls in til 70 mins...still a much better performance and we had Phil Thompson singing our praises so happier Saturday

....the time before the restart showed us the real potential of the team.

I agree about the potential but that was based on keeping the team intact. Unfortunately, our two (possibly three) best players are likely to leave and that puts us firmly back at square one. Unless Warburton manages to replace them with some significant (but cheap) hidden talents during the short close season, we could even be in trouble.
