Match Preview;
Loftus Road on a Friday night, live on sky, what could go wrong? Our visitors, Luton Town, sit 11th in the table, having won two, lost two and drawn one of their last five. Their top scorer is Elijah Adebayo, with eight goals, just ahead of Harry Cornick who has 7. They have scored 26 compared to our 28 and conceded 22 compared to our 24, which suggests this game should have some goals in it. It doesn't always work that way though does it!

A quick glance at their squad and they have a decent set up, with experience in the likes of Cameron Jerome, and a number of young players too (I consider anyone who doesn't remember the 1998 World Cup as young). As for us, I'm really hoping that the international break will have given our players the chance to have a break, and we'll have a bit more energy which will translate into some clinical finishing when we put the pressure on, instead of putting the pressure on with no end result.

Team News:
QPR: Sam McCallum and Andre Gray will all miss out for the R’s, whilst Lee Wallace and Sam Field are pushing for a return

Luton Town: Luke Berry and Jordan Clarke will miss out, whilst Cameron Jerome is pushing for a start

Pre-match talk:
Mark Warburton (QPR Manager): “Luton are a very good team, but we just have to focus on ourselves and be ready for each game. This league is unique but hopefully, if we can reach the levels we know we’re capable of, we’ll be in a good place.”

Nathan Jones (Luton Town Manager): “QPR are a fantastic club with history, we know it’s a difficult game. They have a great squad and I expect them to be very strong and pose a huge threat to us and be a very good test.

Enjoy those who'll make it, and as always...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!

Showing my age here but l remember a fellow who immigrated from the UK to Aus, by the name of Adrian Alston, who enjoy a short few years at the top of his game, scoring some great goals for Luton Town, Aussie and a few other teams.

Did these people marry a lot?
We had a lot of players who sounded good when we bought them but when I saw them in the flesh, they had married, and were ****e now.

Bruce Ricoh.....Okay he didn't play for us but he was assistant manager during that ill fated managerial reign of Stewart Houston..... started his playing career at Luton....

The one to forget will always be the 1-0 defeat there in the cup despite them having zero shots on target and possibly zero shots at all. Rehman own goal.

The match was a replay of a replay when the original replay was rained off very late.

Gray is out of the game with the knee knock he received, Dykes, Dieng, Chair and Odebajo are all to have late fitness tests ! Doesn't sound too promising

Chair and Dieng are fit but tired/not trained.
Dykes has played for us with that injury. ...strange he didn't even make the Scitland bench though
I am sure Odebajo wont play (he is also on 1 yellow card away from suspension, as is Dickie). Yellow cards reset after the Huddersfield match

It's ****ing ludicrous we let Dykes go to the Scottish training camp at all ! You never see other clubs let players with injuries leave during international breaks, half the time they don't release their players when there's nothing wrong with them. If he had any doubt over this lingering injury , he should've been with our medical team or resting it at home.
