I remember him, or at least the name. Didn’t he play in the World Cup in 1974?

Me too. I seem to remember fearing for Webb and McLintock playing against him but don't recall him even getting a sniff of the ball.

Yorkeshire, if memory serves me correct, he was a very hot & cold player who had plenty of natural ability.
