only after we went into substitute roulette. Very good performance for the majority of the game. Score pretty irrelevant. Shape and style excellent, very encouraging

    Result not important.
    Good to remain unbeaten.

**** me, we looked good at times.
Get Johansen in that starting line up.

Great workout for the boys. Can be pleased with their pre-season. Just have to bring all that into the league, week in - week out.
We do look good so far though.

True but disappointing nonetheless, wins over two top six sides would have been a feather in the cap. Hopefully it'll be all guns blazing next Saturday...

It's really hard not to feel very, very confident about the upcoming season.
The only reservation I have is that we may not have much time on the ball in the scrapping championship.

    We do look good though.

Says quite a lot being disappointed to not beat a top 8 premier league side.

Their fans, some of whom I am drinking with now, seriously impressed.

They were also happy that their £35m Baka scored and Keirnan Dewsbury Hall their 22 got a game - they reckon they can sell Maddison as they have him. They also reckon Harvey Barnes is the real deal without injury. They all played against us and we faced them up comfortably.

Another excellent performance most of that game, great zippy passing in a forward direction, movement of the players and Austin's goal was brilliant from all involved. Hope we've not been so good some of our key players get sold before the deadline. And we've not seen Stefan involved yet.

Only other worries for me are how we better cover Field's absence, and when is Thomas going to show some form.

Drewsbury Hall looked very good when he came on.
    I quite rate Maddison mind.

We'll miss Field as back up, but I reckon replace Ball with Johansen and our starting line-up today is our best eleven. Possibly Field could start ahead of Dozzell, but I rate Dozzell.

There was a lot of good stuff out there today.
You really can’t help but feel positive before the season kick-off.
It was great to see Dickie having a solid game against the Leicester front line. He learnt an awful lot last season and he can really lay down a solid full-season marker this coming season. Too many other good performances to go through them all, but l like the look of Moses and Jason Dozell; Willock was a real handful. All good things (so we won’t bother talking about Diengs mistake).

What a cracking game of football!
Enjoyed every minute of that game, at times we looked more of a Premier league team than they did and i dont say that lightly. Long may this style of football continue.

Shocking journey back to London from South Wales, so just seen the result and still only around Oxford. Good to remain unbeaten and score 3 past them.

Another seriously good performance. They started with a strong line-up, but we were better than them and really should have won.

    Going up!
