How brilliant was that.
We beat the massive,
Nakhi scores a VAR illegal goal
Kelly saves a penalty...( It wasn't a penalty was it?)
We keep a clean sheet
Masterson was very good, a number of forward runs, he won't go out on loan, now he is in the team will he.

BOS brilliant (had to remove Dallas, as he was scalped badly by BOS), Chair too was a big problem
Eze quiet but dangerous when they took their eyes of him.

Amos caught in possession a bit too much, especially when he was trying to initiate attacks
Cameron first touch let him down a lot. But Philips nearly killed him with that tackle.. Didn't Phillips injure him last year as well?

Wells very active.
Kelly played our well, good save. Only fault was that he did not move for their free kick that hit the post.

So a couple of hoodoos knocked on head
Good goalie. MoM
Clean sheet
On sky

Today was a good day

Just finished watching the match in “time-lag” mode.

How true are Beth’s comments!

A very strange but very competent game:
- a clean sheet
- a penalty saved
- good defending and pressing
- good team performance
- loose the stats (apart from the stats)

Can we finally classify this as an “ugly win”?

Well done lads! COYR’s!!!!

Great result and for once we got a lucky with the goal and the Hernandez free free that scraped the post with Kelly static. Eze and especially Chair looked well off their best, but they had big trouble with BOS. One, of his many, great runs got him away from 3 defenders wide on halfway, and won us the free kick bang in front that lead to the goal. We looked shaky at the back under almost continual pressure 2nd half and a lot of the 1st, but we held out for the clean sheet and 3 points. Good pen save and one or 2 others from Kelly. Philips got a very well deserved red for a similar nasty tackle on Cameron that took him out for 4 months last season.

Hear! Hear!

Well, you have to get lucky sometimes and we definitely have been on the wrong side of a lot of similar games recently where we have got nothing from the kind of dominance Leeds had today. But I do worry when the underlying performance is poor and where our shortcomings as a squad are so obviously exposed. Our three centrebacks were excellent at neutralising the many set pieces and crosses they faced but we did nothing to actually prevent the onslaught coming particularity from wide and more particularly down the right side where we didn't seem to know whose job it was to close down. Our defensive midfield play was woeful for most of the game with Cameron and Amos giving up the ball again and again in dangerous positions. Amos in particular seems to have no energy or vision. Most of all of course, is our complete lack of options when playing out from the back; we desperately missed Hugill today but even the availability of a taller striker is only part of having the tactical wherewithal to combat teams that play a high press (that will be all opponents between now and May I suspect).

On the plus side Osayi-Samuel was once again truly exciting to watch, Kane probably had his best game for us, Kelly saved a penalty and otherwise looked sound, and Wells made good use of his juggling training and will probably have the best goals to touches ratio of anyone in the league today despite only scoring one and being on the pitch for 80 minutes.

Great to see and great to hear Leeds fans feeling so hard done by. Just watched that Bamford penalty decision- a terrible dive and didn’t deserve to score the penalty.

Just seen the highlights on sky sports leeds and they showed naki's goal 4 times.
..didn't have sound but presume the commentators were complaining about it<laugh>

Bamford...What a waste of space and diver.

Phillips...what a nasty piece of work

Great win...

Jesus, that's a bit negative mate. I thought we were generally sound defensively today (admittedly helped by the fact that Leeds didn't have any one that could head it) and we were always threatening on the counter-attack. We were obviously fortunate with the goal, but I didn't think their penalty was a correct decision either. It was a thoroughly entertaining game with a good atmosphere for a lunch-time game and one that Leeds couldn't really complain too much about losing - handball aside. Masterson was very good, but I'd give MOM to Wells for his goal, link-up play and tireless end-to-end running.
