Basically all roads around Buckingham Palace through to Victoria St, Over Lambeth Bridge along to Westminster Bridge, Victoria Embankment up through Trafalgar Square to Piccadilly Circus and Piccadilly will be closed to through traffic for ten days. That's a square mile of the busiest roads in town. With several other disruptive road works elsewhere it's going to be a nightmare getting anywhere. Add in thousands of visitors to pay their respects and lousy weather forecast f*ck knows what's in store...

Yes. The logistics are going to be a nightmare. The amount of security needed for the funeral will be mind blowing.
I do understand why a lot of things have been cancelled, as police recources will be stretched.
