I always predict to opposition to score against us. It’s a lovely bonus if they don’t, but with our defensive record hardly disloyal. Likewise I always predict that we will score, which is a nailed on certainty at the moment - how many games since we didn’t (come on Statto)?

2-1 on Wednesday I hope, trying to work out whether I have enough time after the last work call to get down for it.

Two goals conceded in our last five. We are watertight.

I think ... we've scored in our last 29 league matches. The last time we failed to score was on the 13th of March 2021, losing 1-0 at home to ......
Huddersfield Town!

I've got the feeling that Huddersfield will sit back and go for a 0-0. ( The Blackburn Effect ) Hopefully that's not the case and we can break them down and get an early goal. The longer it stays nil nil will play into their hands.

I think that Huddersfield may be pleased with the draw.

Let's hope that we continue to score. Hopefully it will be a good game, plus three more points.

Still some doubts about Lyndon being fit, due to take a fitness test sometime today apparently........ Could be Chaz up front again....

No concerns with Austin up front. He didn't do too bad last weekend.

We do however, need a much more impactful performance from Chair & Willock.

There was an interview with Charlie put out by the club which I saw on Facebook.
In it he explained that he took time away from the club recently in order to spend time with his family.
This possibly explains his struggle with fitness etc.

I'd like to see Austin up front again. I feel he is still the most likely of our strikers to score when he gets a chance. Problem is can he manage 2 games in 6 days?

If Dykes and Gray aren't fit it also highlights our shortage of strikers at present with Kelman unavailable and Bonne on loan. Its worse still at CB with Jordi out for weeks, and no recognised CB outside of Barbet, Dickie and Dunne. Short at WB too if Wallace can't play again so soon, if Moses is still injured, and McCallum out for weeks. On the positive side we have plenty of options in midfield. When Field is fully fit and ready for a start, I'd like to see him play behind Johansen. They seem to still play very well together.
