In defence Huddersfield get a lot of men behind the ball, don’t they? We don’t really seem to have figured out how to get in there yet.

in return, we seem sparse at the back whenever they break.

Doesn’t augur well to me if we can’t make our chances count.

Austin gets his chance after fabulous work from Willock and fluffs it.

 

Ffs awful miss from Austin then blasts over with others better placed. Big chance gone there

Austin denied. Charlie with two sights of goal; one blocked before the second is over.

 

We're missing Dykes badly tonight. Uncle getting nothing out of their left back.

 

We finally open them up down their left with Willock but Austin can't get a good connection on the cross, then shoots over.

A very good half just missing a goal really.
Very impressed with Dozzel of late and Dunne at the back. What a difference Wallace makes with the balance on the pitch. Town are getting plenty behind the ball so it might take a bit of Willock or Chair magic to unlock them. Another impressive display though.

Yeah, Dozzel certainly looks no mug. At the start of the season he played like he was a bit in awe and felt like he didn’t belong there. That seems to have past. Accomplished.
