This is shockingly bad, one of the worst displays I can remember. The passing has been atrocious and clueless fouls given away constantly. I feel sorry for Armstrong, trying his heart out, the others need to take a leaf out of his book !
I didn't fight in two world wars to put up with this rubbish. The ref's not helping either, he sure loves the sound of his own whistle. I've just realised that Willock is playing, he's been mainly anonymous.
Good chance after Armstrong got a chance to run at them. Most of the time he's being pulled or pushed off the ball and the ref is doing nothing until we stroke them and they go down. Cheating, yes, but also a bit wiser. Really hope we smash them out the park in the second half. Horrible dirty side.
That's possible, but we still have players who are utterly talentless and can't pass a ball to a team mate 3 yards away !
Our fouls are generally clumsy, theirs are more cynical but referee is buying their play acting, he needs to get a grip before he loses control completely
