Looks as though Eze has got himself into a whole lot of trouble by coming to the ground yesterday to watch.
Mixing with people with no mask etc after explicit warnings from Hogdson and the authorities after recent lapses by players.

    Silly boy.

Barbet was our best player and was very good.
The system dictated that Dykes had to fill in at times as we only had two in midfield. It's the only thing he did right imo.
I was disappointed with the brief look at Kelman as he looked a little out of his depth, but maybe he needs a full game or two.
    Bonne is poor.
Chair was ok but largely ineffective.
    Bettache looks promising.
Uncle Albert has looked pretty awful since he came.

I agree that confidence plays a huge part in a footballer's form and many of them would possibly look better if we weren't on such a poor run.

    Except Kane obviously!

Likely he'll get a punitive ban. No sympathy whatsoever, this isn't a joke...

The FA ‘signed off’ him being there. The issue I guess is not wearing a mask which given he was outdoors is a bit of a grey area at worst.

Eberechi Eze: FA to probe Crystal Palace winger's attendance at QPR vs Fulham FA Cup tie
FA investigating after Crystal Palace winger Eberechi Eze was an invited guest to QPR's third-round FA Cup tie against Fulham; Eze complied with Covid protocols and returned a negative Covid test prior to attending

Eberechi Eze's visit to his former club QPR on Saturday for their FA Cup third-round tie against Fulham is being investigated by the Football Association.

The winger, who joined Crystal Palace from QPR for £20m in the summer, sat in the directors' box at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium as Rangers were beaten 2-0 in extra-time by Fulham.

It is understood that Eze was an invited guest of QPR for the tie, with his attendance conditional on him complying with Covid-19 protocols and returning a negative coronavirus test. He complied with all of these.

The FA has told Sky Sports News it will be looking into Eze's attendance and the governing body has stated that, contrary to some reports, it did not grant the 22-year-old approval to go to the game.

Eze was pictured not wearing a facemask as he watched his old team slip to a defeat.

QPR boss Mark Warburton said: "I've no idea whether he broke protocols or not. You'd have to ask our health and safety officer because that's above my pay-grade.

"I want to talk about the game. What other players do in their own time, I can't comment on that. It's not my area of expertise. Far from it."

Sky Sports News has contacted Crystal Palace and QPR for further comment.

Palace boss Roy Hodgson this week made it clear to his players that no further breaches of Government coronavirus guidelines will be accepted after captain Luka Milivojevic breached the rules on New Year's Eve.

Milivojevic issued an apology on Wednesday after his household mixed with Fulham forward Aleksandar Mitrovic and his family.

We now have a decent goalie but only by the fact how poor Lumley and Kelly had been, otherwise MW would have left him at Donny. Decent CBs, Kakay and Haka will continue to improve. Of the rest Chair and BOS straight on team sheet. I would still like Bonne to have a run of 90mins games
Thought he did ok out on the left, yes missed a sitter but recall Charlie needing 3/4 chances per goal, and our strikers are not getting those amount. Dykes should have been rested ages ago. I have huge issues in the midfield and creating chances. We have no hardcore midfielder, and no box to box player. To alleviate this we signed/loaned Cameron, Amos, Carroll, Thomas, Adomah and Willock all of which range from average to Thomas who is absolutely diabolical. We have appeared to go for such a random approach of signing players, mate down the boozer says he is quality, cool better sign him. We started the season with a massive issue in midfield and we have done nothing to change that, suddenly chucking on Bonne and Kelman to win games isnt going to happen they both need considerable game time in this league but are not getting it just are suddenly expected to score shed loads of goals at a level they have never played at and u can add Dykes to that. I am not saying that they can make this level but u have to give them an opportunity and for that chances have to be created for them. Watch Brentford ,Toni gets 4/5 chances created for him a game of which he scores 25% of

I think that perhaps we miss Amos more than is realised. When Crawley had their Massive win yesterday, one thing that was continually brought up was the work that Bamford does for leeds, and the fact that he wasnot in the squad may have played a big part in them getting knocked out. However, we have never really replaced Derry it terms of midfield general who can dictate play. We have been spoilt by having Wilkins in their, who will Olly doing the running made it a decent midfield. Im not saying that Amos was the next Wilkins but we do lack a spine in the middle of the team.
I am hoping that Charlie returning will help the younger players and take off the pressure.

I think we miss the high energy, pressing game Amos could do when he was very fit and Warburton got him doing it early this, and early on last season, but not really when he played further back. It will probably be a while before he gets his fitness back to that level, so if as is rumoured, we are bringing in a midfielder I hope he is fit enough to get box to box and press..

He’s definitely a miss but any midfield relying on Amos is painfully lacking. Central midfield should have been priorities one, two and three for this window.

Nah, striker was top priority for me. Done. Another striker is the next priority, a box to box fit, tough, fast midfielder 3rd priority. for me.

But according to WLS, Warburton looks to have a CD lined up, de Dutchman, and wants another LB and midfielder. Masterson and Bettache to be loaned out for experience. I'd have thought especially if we continue to play 3 at the back Materson would get his experience with us when Cameron needs a rest, and the inevitable suspensions kick in and injuries come. Also not sure we need another LB if we play 3 5 2, if BOS srays and plays WB again as MW has also suggested according to WLS.

Strikers misfire as Austin watches on - Report

Sunday, 10th Jan 2021 18:36 by Clive Whittingham

QPR were beaten in the FA Cup third round for a record breaking fiftieth time on Saturday, as Fulham made the most of Rangers' profligacy in front of goal to win the day in extra time.

The FA Cup loves narrative, and the storyline of Queens Park Rangers’ third round tie with near neighbours Fulham was writ large. Watching on from the bowels of the South Africa Road stand, returning local hero Charlie Austin. Out on the field in front of him, the reason why.

QPR missed. They missed headed chances, shooting chances and volleyed chances. They missed from close in, long range, and all four corners of the penalty box. They missed with mitigating circumstances, and they missed ones you thought you’d probably score yourself. Chance after chance, over and over, for the best part of two hours, and in the end they were put out of their misery at the third round stage of this competition for a record breaking fiftieth time. Bat raised to the pavilion, members stand to applaud.

There was barely a minute on the clock when Macauley Bonne headed Little Tom Carroll’s outswinging corner over the bar from six yards amidst a half-arsed marking job from Aleksandar Mitrovic. Vague appeals to referee Simon Hooper for a pull perhaps betrayed his embarrassment at the simplicity of the chance. This would be a developing theme.

We have to realise and I hope I am right that the Prem and the Champ are miles apart.
Therefore a 70% fit Charlie Austin should be good enough for the champ.

70% fit will do and he might be running on fumes after an hour if he plays tonight. The risk I think more is that he plays three games in a week then is injured for two months.

Mustn't expect too much fitness wise, but if chances come to him he will hopefully have more chance of burying them than any of our other forwards.
