I watched the game yesterday and here is my take on the game. Deing - never looked to be in trouble. Dickie couple of little errors but generally thought he and Barbet did very well. Dykes - badly lacking confidence and the chance he had when the ball over the top landed inn front of him showed how badly he needs a goal. A striker..sorry confident striker would have burried this however might have lobbed the keeper. However he did spend a lot of time on the right and tracking back - I would much rather see my striker on the halfway line and not going back to collect the ball. BOS - I though he did ok. I was surprised that Uncle Albert never got on along with Willock. Thomas looks like he is someone that needs to go on loan to build up his fitness. Kelman did well and would like to see a bit more of him. Bonne tried but he is one I thought that was bought for the future. Bettache looks like we have a player, Chair didnt stop running. I am glad to see Charlie returning - he is someone that seems to have lost his way a little since he left us - his for has never been the same so maybe his returning will kick start an improvement. If yesterday's game had been a league game, I would have taken a point before kick off. As soon as Bobby Reid started to warm up I thought we would concede a goal.
For a team like ours, the positives have to be that we held a premier league team for 90 mins, and didnt look too troubled. If it had gone to pens it would have been interesting to see who would have stepped up.
We are on a bad run, held a premier team for 90 mins and have got some youngsters that look good. The last few years of financial restraint, FFP have resulted in us being where we are. If we had held onto Eze I think we could have won the game, but we didnt and it is hyperthectical.
I would love to see Uncle Albert given few minutes as Ithink he would have made a difference yesterday.
Looks as though Eze has got himself into a whole lot of trouble by coming to the ground yesterday to watch.
Mixing with people with no mask etc after explicit warnings from Hogdson and the authorities after recent lapses by players.
Silly boy.
Likely he'll get a punitive ban. No sympathy whatsoever, this isn't a joke...
Not what the fa are sayingThe FA ‘signed off’ him being there. The issue I guess is not wearing a mask which given he was outdoors is a bit of a grey area at worst.

We now have a decent goalie but only by the fact how poor Lumley and Kelly had been, otherwise MW would have left him at Donny. Decent CBs, Kakay and Haka will continue to improve. Of the rest Chair and BOS straight on team sheet. I would still like Bonne to have a run of 90mins gamesI watched the game yesterday and here is my take on the game. I think we miss the high energy, pressing game Amos could do when he was very fit and Warburton got him doing it early this, and early on last season, but not really when he played further back. It will probably be a while before he gets his fitness back to that level, so if as is rumoured, we are bringing in a midfielder I hope he is fit enough to get box to box and press..I think that perhaps we miss Amos more than is realised. When Crawley had their Massive win yesterday, one thing that was continually brought up was the work that Bamford does for leeds, and the fact that he wasnot in the squad may have played a big part in them getting knocked out. However, we have never really replaced Derry it terms of midfield general who can dictate play. We have been spoilt by having Wilkins in their, who will Olly doing the running made it a decent midfield. Im not saying that Amos was the next Wilkins but we do lack a spine in the middle of the team.
I am hoping that Charlie returning will help the younger players and take off the pressure.

Nah, striker was top priority for me. Done. Another striker is the next priority, a box to box fit, tough, fast midfielder 3rd priority. for me.He’s definitely a miss but any midfield relying on Amos is painfully lacking. Central midfield should have been priorities one, two and three for this window.
being in the hat for the 5th round draw would have been a best for many many many years![]()
We have to realise and I hope I am right that the Prem and the Champ are miles apart.
Therefore a 70% fit Charlie Austin should be good enough for the champ.
