Forgot to mention - it is great that we played a very good “1st half”. :)

Let’s hope that we carry this through to the WBA game this Friday!

What a great account we gave ourselves against an in-form Prem side. Took the lead twice and held on to pens and scored every single one, just like we did in our last shootout v Orient. Thirteen successful shootout pens. I think we've won our last five penalty shootouts.

Great penalty taking today. To score 8 consecutive penalties is some achievement .

It is now 13 consecutive penalties when you add the 5 against Orient.

This is really outstanding!

But please let’s not lynch the player who will be unfortunate to miss a future penalty as what we are currently performing is “outstanding” and not “the norm”. :)

Just back...what a night.

To start with everyone played so well

Austin did what what Austin does.
He might be older and slower but he really does know where the goal is. After such an awful few weeks, when issues we knew nothing about affected his game...what a response. I apologize Charlie for doubting you.

But Willcox and Chair and McCallum played so well in the first half. They have a complete understanding.

McCallums injury was worrying, no attempt to treat it....Doubt if he will play on Friday

Amos came on, and immediately slotted in , Got say Dozzell did not let us down at all in first half, though.

I thought putting Duke-McKenna on was a heart over head decision by Warbs, but he was so up for it... really pushed on in the last few minutes. Then having the guts to take a penalty...and a great penalty.

I think we have a real prospect there.

But Dunne...what a penalty too.
Dunne is an excellent back up CD....

What a night all round.

Only downside was Ilias Chair being escorted from the pitch by some stewards after the penalties for pitch invasion. I hear pitch invasion warrants a life time ban from entering the stadium... DOH!
Apologies but I've missed issues affecting Charlie's game??

Charlies grandmother died last week. She had been ill and in hospital... The previous couple of weeks he had been juggling hospital visits, with training. Only after she died last week did his wife Bianca, mention it on a tweet.

Win, lose or draw it’s a lot of fun watching us at the moment. Possibly an even more likeable team than Warnock’s even if it doesn’t go on to be as successful.

Everton were poor for most of the game apart from Townsend and Digne but I don’t think many teams could’ve handled Chair and Willock in the mood they were in.

Looks like we may be forced to go four at the back if McCallum is out for Friday. The defence was better for it but I’d have backed myself to mark Rondon.

McCallum looked brilliant last night, taken a few games to get the link up play with Chair and Willock but totally on same wave length tonight. Stretched and pulled up so could be pulled hamstring but hopefully not as serious

Fear the worse Yorkshire. The physio made no attempt to treat the injury. They talked, gave him a drink and took him off.

The fourth round draw for the Carabao Cup will take place on Wednesday September 22.

The draw follows Manchester United's match against West Ham United, which is scheduled to kick off at 7.45pm.

It will be taking place at the Potton Bowls Club in Sandy, Bedfordshire, at approximately 9.45pm.

Former Spurs boss Harry Redknapp <yikes> will be picking the balls, alongside Manchester City legend Micah Richards.

Looks like we need to brace ourselves for potentially bad news. Let's hope that our assumptions are incorrect.
