Thought they were going roll right over us tbh, glad we didn't make it easy for them. Shame to be out of the cup but at least it wasn't an embarrassment.
The BBC and the official QPR app had him down for a yellow in the first half but they eventually changed it. Must have been an error.
Enjoyed the game & much better 2nd half & a bit unlucky at the end, no disgrace against Palace’s full strength side, EZE sort of run the game from midfield, good & poor performances from some of our players, bring on The scum Millwall
Good point. Seems we have to go a goal down to get any urgency in our play. Also, I'm all for retaining possession and playing out from the back but it's also good to mix it up - which we rarely ever do. Last night, Walsh was forced to kick it long as he was being closed down rapidly - and that was the ball that put Lloyd through on goal. A bit more of that to make us less predictable wouldn't go amiss.
Not even sure it's down to a particular half. Take Plymouth game, came out smashed them to bits, then stopped pressing, let them back in the game then went for it once their player got a red. WBA score 1st sit back. Sheffield Utd again small periods looked decent then sat back an forgot how to play. Luton away never in it, yet got 3pts. Didn't see Sheff Wed away but again sounded pretty poor for long periods. Appreciate that it is early days but we are not consistently playing to whatever the plan is to start a match and then play that way for 90mins. Unless the plan is to be erratic!
