Match Preview;
So after last weekend infuriating last minute defeat to Wrexham, we welcome league leaders to Loftus Road this Saturday afternoon. Despite being top of the league, they haven't been in great form recently, having won two, lost two and drawn one in their last five league games, plus they were knocked out the FA Cup by Stoke. Their lead over Middlesborough at the top of the table is now down to three points. Their top scorers are Ellis Simms, Haji Wright and Brandon Thomas-Assante, who have 10 goals each. They've scored more than any other team in the division so far, an impressive 62 goals so far, which is 14 more than second place on that list, Ipswich Town. Frank Lampard, who I'm sure will get a warm welcome at Loftus Road :emoticon-0114-dull:, has been manager at Coventry since November 2024, and in that time has manager 65 games, won 34 drawn 13 and lost 18. He'll be hoping to get to the Premiership this season, after finishing 5th last year, and losing in the playoffs to eventual winners, Sunderland. They lost to a Sunderland goal scored in the 122nd minute, so Lampard has done well to pick up his team and get them going this season.

As for us, we've lost two, drawn two and won one in our last five. We now sit 12th, on 40 points, so 4 points from the playoffs and 11 points from the drop zone. I'd like to see us have a very positive last half/third of the season, and ideally give younger players, like Kolli, Justin Obikwu and Kealey Adamson a lot of game time, and spend the rest of the season working out our best front two pairing, and giving them game time together. Given our last game against them, I'm hoping that we'll have short memories, and not be haunted by our 7-1 defeat back in August.

Team news and manager comments to go up asap, enjoy if you'll make it to HQ, and as always...

...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!

Nice one Dave

Foolishly I'm flying in for this one, not holding out much hope

Would be great to get another Leicester performance rather than a Wrexham

It’s not too late to cancel your flight, cancel on medical grounds, you will catch PTSD if you are forced to travel to watch a massacre
