Who cares about the play-offs now? Yes, we've blown it however in the summer I can see us bringing in a good amount of players which will in effect add the much needed depth our squad needs, balance the team and add a couple more quality players to our pool. With all this in hand we can aim for the automatic places next season. Anyway, lets cheer the boys on to the end of the season, finish in the top half and above TWS!!!
Yeah, saturday cost us, too late now. But priority to beat Bristol and keep this away run going, give us some momentum going into next season.
Great picture on the firstrowsports link. I turned the radio off because they were 5 mins in front. City did keep on trying right till the end which was good to see. Hope for a good reception from the fans at the last home game and try for an automatic promotion place next year. Couldn't have stood the tension of the play offs anyway. Watched Windass's Wembly goal on Youtube this morning and whenever we go up again I don't think anyting could match that season.
It was in one of the red tops today that Danns is set to sign for us on a free transfer. It would somehow be typical of City to sneak into the play-offs by a complete miracle. I highly doubt it but I'm always the optimist!
Sadly no chance of playoffs...... Nottngham Forest v. Scunthorpe next week. I think Fozz could get into double figures. All those dropped home points v. Scunny, Sheff U, Pompey, etc..etc. have come back to bite us on the arris big style.
