If that’s true whoever agreed to let one of the most promising managers leave with a £1m ‘get out’ clause should be fired. I just think of Austin Powers. One million is nothing in football and it’s totally screwed out season.

Really? I'd have thought £1mill pretty good for someone who was completely untested as a manager - actually surprised it's not less
