Saturday morning and a match day!

My predictions are rubbish, team formations and starting elevens are totally wrong, so I conclude that I don’t know much about football.

So perhaps we can take a “philosophical” approach today’s match?

After 7 matches without a win, 4 games without a goal, we will one day score again, and we will one day win again.

Each day and match brings us closer to the land of “Utopia”, or our search for the “Holy Grail”.

Perhaps, ... maybe, ... it will be TODAY?

Thing is, after 7 matches, perhaps it's not you who's getting it wrong?

I am usually positive before a match, any match, but I am feeling anxious today. The sinking feeling that has haunted me since Dickie's stupid tug at the Barnsley player is still there.
Cardiff is going to score at least three unless something completely unexpected happens, but MW will be playing the same ticky-tacky, slow football that we have played for most of this season and the end of the last one.

How things change in just a few months. We tore both Welsh teams apart in the pace of a few days, scoring 11 goals. We really were playoff material at that point, playing some of the best football since Colin and Taraabt worked their magic.

I’ve put on a raft of ridiculous bets mostly requiring us to get thoroughly embarrassed to see a return so we should sneak a dull 0-0.
